Cattle Guards : Maintenance

There is no required maintenance for the guard to function
properly for many years. The only point of friction comes where the floor
hangers insert into the 6" vertical pipes. A small amount of grease placed
periodically
on the 1" guide strap in this area will allow the pipe
hangers to slide more smoothly, and prevent premature wear.
